Sadie joins the wild & crazy Stoddard family!

After being out of business for a while, what better way to get back into the swing of blogging, than sharing a sweet newborn session from one of your favorite families. I don't typically share the birth announcement in my blog post, however, part of the newborn experience is to capture images that you will have forever as well as to be able to share your precious little baby with all of your friends & family. The Standards have become part of my extended family and to be able to share these moments in their lives is something that means the world to me. Having Drew refer to me as Aunt Steph brings tears to my eyes and warmth to my heart!

Much love!

Asher Turns ONE!

This little man is a complete hand full, however, I love him to pieces & pieces! Asher is my beautiful niece Katelyn's first born & my borrowed grandson! Katelyn lived with us for the year leading up to her pregnancy and we became very close. She gets me like a lot of people don't. It has been a privilege to be able to capture Asher's little life from the very beginning. On this day, he was his normal rambunctious self, running more than sitting & posing. When it came time for the cake, we set it up on a crate and in the split second Katelyn turned to grab the candle, Asher pulled his arm back and with all his might knocked the cake right onto the ground. Katelyn just looked at me & said "did that just happen?" We both laughed, wiped the grass of and carried on. It's what you do with kids. They are so unpredictable and adorable all at the same time. Happy Birthday my little man! I can't wait until our next adventure!

Love you!!!

The Price Family | Christmas 2014

It all started with a little cheer. Ana & Andrew coached both of my daughter while cheering for Champion Outlaws and we became like family. I always knew Ana would be a great Mom from the way she was with her "babies". Andrew is a kid at heart, however, loves his son with all he has. You have watched this family grow with me as I have had the privilege of capturing some of the most monumental times in their lives. We have celebrated Jaxon's Birthdays {all 3 of them} with a family~Birthday theme session. Andrew's parents Sarah & Larry accompanied us which was great for me as Sarah is one of my very best friends! ENJOY <3
Much love!

The Kirby Family | Christmas 2014

There are some families that I meet and instantly click with. I knew from our very first session that the Kirby's would become an extension of my own family. Tina is one of the most amazing moms and pours her heart into every aspect of being an advocate for her children. Brandon would do absolutely anything for Tina & the kiddos, but also for others. I have been photographing their family since Bella was two and before JoJo was even a thought. We spend a lot of non working time together and it is always full of laughter. Wether we are walking for the San Diego Autism race 2014 "Team JoJo Boom Boom Pow", painting the town pink for our own baby Kylie or flying off to see Brittney Spears, memories are being made that will last a lifetime. The first time I was in the Kirby's new home, I walked down the hall that is adorned with family photos. All of the images except for two had been from our sessions. It brought rears to my eyes & reminded me of how truly blessed I am to be a part of something that people cherish.

Much love!

The Stoddard Family | Christmas 2014

This family means the world to me & their sessions are always full of laughter & shenanigans. Sean is one of my dad's that actually enjoys pic day. I have known Dawn Marie for years as she is the niece of my best friend Laura, so I have had the pleasure of watching her grow up into a beautiful young lady, fabulous wife to Sean & amazing mama to Drew. Sean will do just about anything to keep the mood light & get a laugh out of all of us, even if that means running around with Drew on his shoulders, doing crazy things to Dawn & taking a head full of drool...all in the name of a great shot!

Below, I have a little "outtakes" collage, so scroll down for some not so traditional images.

Enjoy! I know that I sure did
