So we set out to shoot Briana & Jeff in the pouring rain and everywhere we stopped was breathtaking! No pouring rain, however, we chased the cloudy skies and ended up with one if the most beautiful sunsets!
We will get that "Notebook" shot as soon as winter hits!
Wow was this day crazy & we shot all over the place finishing up with a sunset sand storm!
Tracy Giles did hair & makeup for Missy while Cole got everything ready for our little adventure. We drove all around the mountains stopping wherever we felt like!
One of my favorite spots was an area that had been burned out by a recent fire. Right in the middle of the ash covered mountain side was this beautiful green brush growing right through the dead ground. It just seemed so significant to me.
The last shots were in the middle of the desert with the most amazing sunset and wind howling like crazy. We literally had to stop and then shoot when there was a brief break in the sand blowing past. Missy was cracking up during the kissing shots since Cole had a mouth full of sand for most of them!
We stumbled upon an area that had been burned in a recent fire. Loved the significance of the new growth
From our consultation appointment I knew that I would love working with Kahla and Matt! They chose to shoot in Point Loma because of Matt's Portugal heritage. We started at the lighthouse finishing up in La Jolla. I found an area i have never shot at before and the mix of sun and marine layer flowing in was perfect! I can't wait to be a part of their wedding!
